Missionary Membership

If you are a member of one of our four partner churches—Lenexa Baptist, West Haven, Fellowship West or First Baptist Church Basehor—we offer a missionary membership.

This membership option will allow you to join Linwood Baptist Church (upon your agreement with the Linwood Church member covenant) and maintain fellowship with your sending church. Your current home church will send you to support the Linwood replant for a period for 18-24 months. During this time, you will be a member of Linwood but you will remain on the email list, church communication and be included in the church family of your sending church. 

At the conclusion of or at any time during your 18-24 month commitment, you may ask your sending church to entirely release you as a part of their fellowship, indicating your understanding that God has called you to stay at Linwood and make this your permanent church home. Likewise, when your 18-24 month commitment to Linwood has been completed your, permanent membership will be transferred back to your sending church.
